Today we expect warmer temperatures and winds 10 – 15 mph.
Smoke may increase this afternoon.
There will be two helicopters assisting the efforts today.
Bridger Canyon Roadis open, but speed is restricted to 35 mph in the area. Overnight temperatures are expected to be warmer, in the 40s. 1:45 pm Tuesday 29th

There are 3 sawyer crews working on taking down trees along the road which may cause an issue.
The helicopter has been flying today with water.
Due to low humidity in the teens, higher temperatures and wind, there is a chance of some fire activity. Smoke may be seen at times or fire may be visible.

Crews were sent home this morning.

Our command post has been moved to the Bridger Canyon Fire Department.
While we have good moisture and snow coverage as the temperatures rebound in the next week expect to still see some areas of smoke.
BCFD will still be patrolling the area along with other agencies.

The area has received a small blanket of snow.
During a drive-around we saw no signs of smoke. There may still be hot spots that we can not see at this time.
Snow is expected to melt off in the area tomorrow and into Saturday. Our plan is to grid the area once the snow has melted off unless we get another storm which is in the forecast for Sunday and Monday.
